The Cross Media 2012 app features floor plans and exhibitor lists
A smartphone app has been developed for visitors to September's Cross Media 2012 trade show in London, UK, designed to enable pre-planning to get the most out of the show.
The app, for iPhone and Android devices, can be downloaded from the Cross Media 2012 website. As well as news and information about exhibitors, speakers and seminars, it provides a map of the show floor, social media feeds and traffic news. The 'My Schedule' feature also allows the user to select and save the details of seminars in a 'virtual diary'.
"In today's fast paced business environment, smartphones and tablets play an integral role in helping marketers, publishers, creatives and printers keep their fingers on the pulse of what's happening in their fast-paced industry and optimise the time they spend doing this," says Nick Craig Waller, event director. "The Cross Media 2012 app will allow them to do just that."
