Kodak's Nexpress Red Fluorescing Dry Ink has won a 2012 InterTech Technology Award from Printing Industries of America. The ink, suitable for printing with a number of substrate types, appears clear until illuminated with ultraviolet light, providing security protection for direct mail, documents, packaging and promotional materials printers.
"Security solutions can often be cost prohibitive, but with Kodak's Red Fluorescing Dry Ink, printers have a real solution against counterfeiting that is both cost effective and easy to implement," says Mark Bohen, vice-president of Technology and Research at Printing Industries of America.
