Colour printing technology developer Memjet has appointed Ben Miller in the newly created role of chief patent counsel, and David Osborn as patent counsel.

Miller, formerly of Qualcomm, will manage the legal matters concerning 5,000 international patents and 700 pending, and other intellectual property issues.

"Ben's deep experience in global patent evaluation, filing and maintenance will serve us well as we accelerate our growth and support our OEM customers in the commercialisation of Memjet technologies," comments Len Lauer, chairman and chief executive officer for Memjet.
