Nick Craig Waller expects a significant international presence at Ipex 2014
A series of roadshows is to be held in the run-up to Ipex 2014 to promote the London print show. The Informa Exhibitions team will head to Australia, Belgium, The Netherlands, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, the USA, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey and the UK, armed with the latest market analyses, discussions, presentations and networking opportunities.
"We will present informative and engaging events that will focus on the international printing community, especially amongst the emerging markets, to ensure we engage, attract and deliver these visitors to London in 2014," explains Nick Craig Waller, Ipex 2014 marketing director.
"There has been a significant rise in footfall from emerging markets around the globe – at Ipex 2010, the split was 52 percent UK and 48 percent international visitors and we expect an increase to a 55 percent international, 45 percent national split. China, for example, is increasing its collective stand space by over 100 percent at Ipex 2014, and we expect to see a corresponding increase in visitor numbers as well as increased activity in the media and associations."
The roadshow dates will be announced in September. Ipex 2014 is scheduled for March 26th to April 2nd 2014 at London's Excel.
