The Duplo DC-615 has freed up operators' time by removing the separate guillotining stage, says Duplo
Essex-based Duplication Centre – which provides CD, DVD and Blue-ray duplication services – says it has lowered production costs and raised the quality levels of its output following the installation of a new Duplo DC-615 automatic creasing and cutting machine, supplied by print finishing equipment distributor Elmstok.
Duplication Centre uses Xerox paper for CD inlays and DVD wraps, and previously printed the items using its Xerox workstation, cutting them on a guillotine, then folding and inserting. The guillotine is now bypassed by the Duplo DC-615, into which an operator can load the raw print from the Xerox directly.
