MicroGreen Polymers aims to present sustainable substrate with starter pack
USA-based MicroGreen Polymers has compiled a starter kit of its InCycle material – a printable plastic sheet stock made from recycled PET bottles – as a way for printers to introduce the substrate to their customers.
Available in the USA through distributors including Agfa Graphics, Laird Plastics, GPA Specialty Substrate Solutions and SABIC Polymershapes, the InCycle Printing Starter Kit includes a total of 30 blank 28 x 40" (71 x 102cm) sheets in 30, 40, and 60mm thicknesses, as well as informational and promotional material about InCycle.
"In response to the rapidly building demand from printers to be able to cost effectively create samples for their brand customers, we are excited to offer this kit to printers as they continue to guide their customers to new, more sustainable materials," says Tom Malone, chief executive of MicroGreen Polymers.
InCycle sheets are recyclable in existing PET recycling streams, and have a naturally bright, UV-resistant integral skin that can be printed onto directly, says the manufacturer.
