![[Morwenna Kearns, managing editor]](img/morwenna.jpg) Welcome to Output's new-look weekly newsletter. We're always looking for ways to improve the magazine, so click on one of the icons above to tell us what you think.
On the theme of developments, last week I received an invitation to the Print Futures Awards, a fantastic programme designed not only to recognise the work of people under 30 in the printing industry but to help them progress within it too. However, while it's open to the whole graphic arts crowd and it certainly has our support, its focus is still mainly on commercial print. Perhaps it's time the sign-making and graphic display industry had their own scheme to keep the sector alive. In the meantime don't forget to let us know what fresh ideas your team has had – whatever their age.
