Editor's note [spacer line]

This week we're handing Output back to you with our new Outputting Tumblr gallery – a showcase of projects from the sign and display sectors that you can add to with your own work or with signage you've spotted on your travels. As well as an opportunity to exhibit pictures of your successes, it's also a chance for you to tell us more about them; the best ones will be featured in the magazine too.

We're opening up our Video of the week slot to you as well. If you have footage of the creation or installation of a project, send us a link and it may grace the bottom of a future newsletter.

As if that weren't enough we've also launched an RSS feed to make sure you never miss a news story, feature or blog.

Happy Outputting.

This week, we're asking:

How do you get the most out of your customers?

Most printers complain of the dreary work they have to produce the majority of the time. So how do you tip the balance in favour of getting the more exciting jobs? And how do you educate customers in order to improve efficiency? Laurel Brunner and Sophie Matthews-Paul will share their thoughts this week. As always, you're invited to send in your ideas and experiences via email, Facebook or LinkedIn.

Last week's Question of the Week blogs on file efficiencies are still available in the Talk Print! area as well, along with a brilliant blog from Sophie on what the term 'industrial' print actually means.

Laurel discusses what HP's new chief executive Léo Apotheker will do for the company and its customers, and there's the usual news from HP itself.

Impact Media finds its head for heights with building wrap

Impact Media's building wrap, which was commissioned by Nike to coincide with South Africa's hosting of the World Cup in 2010, is a prime example of the lengths – and heights – those working within our field will go to in order to deliver arresting creative installations. With Johannesburg's Southern Life Centre building standing at 138m high the project was not for the fainthearted, but the efforts of the team of intrepid abseiling workers were realised when artwork featuring footballer Didier Drogba graced one face of the structure.
