Signagelive has enhanced its content management system with support for both NFC and beacon technology. This upgrade, which applies to both its system-on-chip and HTML5 products, allows businesses to drive interactivity through users' mobile devices.

These new features will be demonstrated at the company's ISE 2016 stand, which will be configured to replicate several real-life applications. The company's software will also be on display at key partner stands, including LG and Samsung.

As well as supporting a variety of content formats from HD video to IPTV, the Signagelive CMS allow users to multi-zone, layer images and control screen operation. As a cloud-based program, it can be managed from anywhere, thus eliminating the need for on-site management.

"Interactive functionality provides retailers with an extremely powerful marketing tool," comments Jason Cremins, chief executive of Signagelive. "Using Smart Signage displays powered by Signagelive's SoC software, well-known high street brands can cost effectively take their digital signage networks to a new level by giving consumers the ability to interact with displayed content though assistive PoS applications."
