A display of Christie's MicroTiles was amongst the solutions on show at the recent NRF
Christie has been introducing retailers to its product range at New York's National Retail Federation (NRF) Expo 2011, which took place from January 10th to 11th.
Part of the company's showcase was the MicroTiles product, which makes use of both DLP projection and LED technologies. MicroTiles were displayed in 'a unique configuration', in which customers were able to interact with the displays by spinning them to show different products, and downloading their choices to mobile devices.
"Christie's digital video displays have been used by some of the world's most discerning retailers and marketers including Harrods, Versace and the Miami Dolphins," explains Sean James, vice-president, managed services, Christie. "Retailers need an instant way to connect with customers and influence shopping decisions at the point of purchase, where the majority of sales are made.
"Our goal is to deliver the 'wow' factor that ultimately engages customers, while providing back-end support to ensure that displays are always running and driving revenue for our clients."
