Christie's MicroTiles can be installed in various configurations
Screenmedia Expo, taking place in London, UK today and tomorrow (May 16th and 17th) features Christie's MicroTiles products on a number of its partners' stands.
Amigo Digital's stand features a mock-up of a reception area including a 'Virtual Elevator' comprised of 28 Christie MicroTiles in a 4 x 7 configuration. The digital displays show doors which close and open to reveal Amigo products.
"To recreate photorealistic elevator doors and to model the interior of an elevator convincingly requires a set of screens that can display content at a high resolution whilst also displaying realistic content convincingly," Alex Hughes, director, Amigo. "With their high definition and the way in which they display imagery so realistically, MicroTiles fit our requirements perfectly."
Meanwhile, Scala is demonstrating its new interactive screen communication solution that enables users to manage micro-targeted messages with smart mobile devices via QR codes.
A 3 x 3 Christie MicroTiles array is displaying dynamic content on Concept Digital's show space, while a 20-MicroTile display is being used by Symon Dacon to show how digital content can be eye-catching both up close and from a distance.
