YCD Multimedia's new product can 'upload information to headquarters, and interact with customers', the manufacturer states
YCD Multimedia has designed a new digital signage product for Coca-Cola, which seeks to increase flexibility for Coca-Cola to display variable digital content beside its products in stores.
The product operates on Intel Core i5 processors and is designed for management via Intel's wireless Active Management Technology, which allows retailers to place the signage stand wherever they like in shops, regardless of the location's physical LAN facilities. It will be shown at Intel's stand at the 2012 National Retail Federation's 101st Annual Convention and Expo in New York, USA from January 15th to 18th.
The product demonstrates 'a flexible approach to digital signage that enables retailers rapidly to deploy and manage in-store displays', says YCD Multimedia executive Noam Levavi.
"Our collaboration with Intel in the development of the concepts underscores the ability to help retailers increase their revenues and affect the shopper's decision-making process through innovative technology solutions," he adds.
