Scala will be allowing attendees of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2012 to explore its new digital signage product, an interactive screen communication solution that consumers can manage using devices such as a smartphone or iPad. The solution has applications in retail, quick service restaurant, healthcare, education and corporate environments, says Scala.
Digital signage viewers are able to choose the specific information they want to receive, which Scala states enables micro-targeting of marketing messages. Visitors to Scala's ISE stand will be invited to scan a QR code with their smartphone in order to access a management tool that opens up a choice of information bundles which designate the screens' content on the stand.
Scala's interactive screens are also integrated with Twitter, enabling the transference of targeted information.
"Combining [Scala's] know-how with our latest developments, I am convinced we can find new ways to help companies to quickly engage and inform their audiences," comments chief executive Tom Nix. "Many organisations are challenged to find innovative ways to deliver valuable content to target audiences in the short bursts of time available."
