A classic London cab will demonstrate the iTaxitop 2.0 at Screenmedia Expo
Eyetease Media will exhibit the latest version of its taxi-roof digital signage solution at this month's Screenmedia Expo, deployed on a London black cab and a New York taxi.
Compared to the first version, showcased at last year's Screenmedia Expo, the iTaxitop 2.0 has 20 percent brighter screens and 30 percent more advertising space, plus systems for power, thermal and vibration management to ensure car-top durability of up to five years.
"Taxis spend on average 95 percent of their time in city centres and present advertisers with the ideal platform to advertise from," comments Richard Corbett, chief executive, Eyetease Media. "Current taxi media formats are untargeted and inefficient. In general, OOH is losing precious advertising dollars to more targeted mobile and online media formats.
"The iTaxitop 2.0 presents brands with a real opportunity to bring back relevancy to the OOH media sector. The iTaxitop will turn each and every taxi into the world's most advanced OOH media platform."
Sreenmedia Expo will take place at Earls Court in London, UK on May 16th and 17th. Eyetease Media will also be part of the show's education programme on May 17th.

I love the big display and hope this can be rolled out in time for the Olympics. Another great way to show visitors that London not only swings, but it also leads the world in innovative high tech digital media advertising.
