iSign's technology facilitates interactivity between mobile devices and digital signage
Interactive mobile and digital signage advertising solutions enabler iSign, whose chief executive was interviewed exclusively on Output yesterday, has announced an update to its Interactive Marketing Solution (IMS) software, making it IMS 3.1.
The offering, which is being deployed throughout North America in environments such as shopping centres and entertainment venues, includes a new feature, the Online Content Creator.
The addition allows operators to create and control the material that plays across their network. Users are able to make coupons, loyalty programme invitations and vouchers, amongst other types of content.
The IMS 3.1 also includes a loyalty support programme, which makes it possible for retailers to ascertain when existing members of marketing schemes are in a certain vicinity of their hubs, as well as how much time they spend in a certain area. This enables stores and other venues to reward customers for certain types of behaviour.
Better analytics and consequent business intelligence are cited as further benefits of the update. The software is now able to detect more than 90 percent of mobile phone models and offers a number of reporting settings.
