Codasoft features a partner dashboard
Digital signage software supplier Camvine has released a software-only version of its cloud-based system, called Codasoft. The company states it gives channel partners the 'freedom' to merge Coda with their choice of hardware including displays and media players, which are then managed via Camvine's cloud-based system. The new version is aimed at major distributors, integrators and OEMs, the company says.
Two branding options are offered with Codasoft: private labelling to allow users to 'totally rebrand' Coda with re-skinned websites and renamed URLs, or the ability to add the user's brand identity to Coda branding. It also features a partner dashboard, real-time diagnostic tools, and technical and marketing support.
The product is available for Linux and Windows, and Camvine emphasises the 'simple' and 'easily repeatable' installation process, which involves downloading the Coda media player software installer, transferring the software to a USB stick and installing it onto the hardware.
"This is a significant development for our channel as it brings all the benefits of Coda to the bigger players and frees Coda for world-wide distribution," comments Steve Hales, head of sales and marketing at Camvine.
