AMX Inspired Composer 5 digital signage software has an approval process through which novice users are guided
AMX has begun shipping its new digital signage software, Inspired Composer 5, more than two months earlier than planned, it says. The software enables large organisations to ensure consistent branding adherence by allowing multiple employees to contribute to digital signage content via 'a simple workflow management and approval process'.
"Organisations are discovering that digital signage is a valuable tool to generate customer awareness and keep internal staff informed," says AMX chief technology officer Robert Noble.
"The challenge though is that managing and delivering content, especially across large deployments, can be resource intensive. Inspired Composer 5 removes that challenge and lets organisations truly leverage the benefits of digital signage."
A redesigned user interface allows novices to edit, publish and deliver content including real-time weather reports, news and stock tickers to every digital signage display in a deployment network.
Inspired Composer 5 is designed for use with AMX's Inspired XPert IS-XPT-2000 and IS-200 digital signage player models, and is available in a desktop version for local PC installation and an enterprise server version.
