Panasonic has expanded its digital signage line, which also includes the LF20 series

Panasonic has used InfoComm 2011 to expand its range of LCD display units. The manufacturer says that the LFP30, LFT30 and LF30 screens are suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use, and are 'distinguished by' their brightness, slim and lightweight construction, and reduced energy requirement.

The LFP30 series screens are resistant to dust and water and are framed in an aluminium cabinet with strengthened glass, making them particularly suitable for out-of-home applications, according to Panasonic. It will be supplied in 42 and 47" (1.06 and 1.19m) sizes. The 47" (1.19m) LFT counterpart adds touch capability to these solutions, with trans-reflective and cooling technologies incorporated to guarantee outdoors operations.

LF30 is a wide-angle option for 42 and 47" screens and features an Eco mode, which reduces the screen's lumens according to the light level of its environment. Both the LF30 and the LFP30 will be commercially available in October this year, with LFT30 following in January 2012.

"We engineered the LFT30, LFP30 and LF30 to provide our customers with the best possible solutions for an even wider range of environments," states Rick Albert, vice-president of sales for Professional Display Solutions at Panasonic.
