The Casio 'eye' pulses until customer motion initiates video content, explains Crystal Displays

A new motion-sensitive transparent display at Casio's Covent Garden store is 'proving very popular in attracting potential customers', says supplier Crystal Displays.

The 22" (56cm) Samsung transparent display in portrait mode is situated in the Casio G-Shock advertising unit and features a motion sensor which initiates video content when a customer approaches the unit. It is designed to explain the benefits and 'unique selling proposition' of the new high-end watch.

Crystal Displays notes that the unit is ideal for many retail applications as well as 'eye-catchers' at exhibition stands, and names hotels, banks and casinos among other potential markets.
