The new media player from AllSee Technologies converts existing screens into digital signage

UK-based digital signage manufacturer AllSee Technologies has launched a new product, the Standalone High Definition Media Player, which it says allows users to convert an existing television, computer monitor or other screen into a digital display.

The media player, which offers AV Composite and HDMI output, plays USB-stored content such as videos and images on a loop accompanied by a choice of music, creating a plug-and-play solution. Users can alter settings including transition effects and image duration, and on/off times.

Free software for scheduling each individual media file is included with the player, adds Allsee.
