Six specially adapted Bouncepad enclosures were installed in each of the London Eye's 32 capsules

Bouncepad has supplied a bespoke version of its flexible tablet computer enclosure product to the EDF Energy London Eye, enabling the attraction's 3.6m annual visitors to see information about the London skyline via Samsung 10" (26cm) tablets.

Bouncepad explains that its casing products conceal cables and, where necessary, function buttons, while allowing transmission of WiFi and 3G signals.

"We were looking for functionality and security, so when the Bouncepad team brought their product into a London Eye capsule for the first time, it was clear that it was a natural fit," explains Davey Barrett, show services manager, EDF Energy London Eye. "The design and simplicity of the Bouncepad complements the aesthetic of the London Eye, and the company provided us with a tailor-made solution in record time."

"Bouncepad is rapidly becoming the ubiquitous solution for those who wish to harness the power of tablet devices safely without compromising on style, and we were thrilled to work with the prestigious London Eye on its latest project," adds Tobi Schneidler, Bouncepad founder.
