AMX's products include the DVX-2100HD Enova Total Environment Controller
Computer manufacturer Dell is to start offering digital signage from AMX to the US government following a partnership agreement. The deal includes AMX's Inspired XPress digital signage system, its Enova DVX-2100HD controller and a range of other audio-visual products.
"Our partnership aligns the best-of-breed IT solutions with the best-of-breed AV solutions and makes them easily accessible for government buyers," says John Hanby, vice-president of government sales at AMX. "We are very pleased to team with Dell to offer government end users a one-stop shop for advanced, integrated IT-AV out-of-the-box solutions."
AMX explains that its partnership with Dell is 'a well-timed approach to the market' capitalising on the merging of the fields of IT and audio-visual technology and an increasing demand for audio-visual systems to be moved online to 'streamline' control of them.
The company's digital signage and technology management systems have been used in environments including hotels, classrooms, conference rooms and broadcast facilities.
