The new digital signage will give information on Euro Millions and other draws
UK-based digital signage company Amscreen and France's national lottery operator La Francaise des Jeux have signed a deal to deploy 4,000 jackpot information displays across France.
The companies will develop a window display screen, which will show real-time information about the Euro Millions and Loto draws. Users will be able to update the information – described as 'accurate, visible and attractive' by Amscreen – using WiFi, SMS or Ethernet connections.
"This deal with La Francaise des Jeux builds on our success with deploying lottery solutions for Camelot in the UK and also further marks our expansion onto the European market following on from our deal with BP Europe," explains Simon Sugar, chief executive, Amscreen. "La Francaise des Jeux have terminals in over 25,000 stores nation-wide and we look forward to rolling out our displays across the network."
La Francaise des Jeux attracts 28m lottery players and reports annual sales of over €10.5bn, according to Amscreen.
