Wireless Ronin's digital signage is used in a variety of environments including retail
Wireless Ronin's Q3 2010 results have revealed a 148 percent year-on-year revenue increase to $2.7m (£1.7m).
The digital signage company says this is primarily thanks to its leading customers, Chrysler, Thomson Reuters, Yum! and Aramark – including Chrysler's iShowroom retail branded tower salon initiative – and a roll-out with the Snap Fitness gym network. There are also purchase orders totalling around $1.7m (£1.6m) which were received as of September 30th which the company had not recognised as revenue.
"With the 2,000 sites we will be rolling out for Snap Fitness during fiscal 2011 and the additional screens going in at Chrysler dealers, our Network Operations Center (NOC) expects to service more than a total installed base of 6,600 nodes," says James C Granger, chief executive.
"Upon installation, these sites will add over $0.6m [£374,000] of hosting and support revenue on an annualised basis, and when combined with our existing recurring revenue, it will represent a five-fold increase from January 2009."
