Steve Rawlins says that Advantech 'completes Anglia Embedded's full house of technologies from world-leading brands'
Advantech has revealed a new UK partner strategy for its embedded computing systems, including digital signage and kiosk hardware, identifying the country as its 'number-one target territory' for 2012.
Cambridgeshire-based Anglia Embedded now sells the manufacturer's components and systems for digital signage applications, amongst others, as part of a broader technology catalogue. "[We] can now offer customers a full portfolio of system components sourced from the world's top brands, spanning displays, communications and single board computers," comments Steve Rawlins, chief executive of Anglia.
Anglia Embedded joins Advantech channel partners ECA Services, HardwarePT and Impulse, which represent the healthcare and telecoms, industrial automation and systems integration supply areas respectively. The partnerships represent 'an intelligent channel strategy with a better business view' based around just-in-time and bespoke requirements in 'specific verticals', including self-service, healthcare, signage and other markets, according to Andy Courtney, UK senior channel sales manager at Advantech.
Advantech adds that the UK is a 'major point of growth' for its embedded systems, highlighting that the recent expansion of its staff and European service and technology offices.
