Magenta Research has revealed that Rob Muddiman has been promoted from the role of European sales and marketing manager, a position which he has held since April 2009, to director of international sales.
The company enables the transmission, distribution and switching of multi-format video, audio and auxiliary signals through its catalogue of switchers, AV extenders and distribution amplifiers. Magenta states that it hopes to expand its global operations with Muddiman's expertise.
"Rob has proven to be a key part of Magenta's success, and this promotion is a result of his ability to think strategically on a global scale," enthuses Keith Mortensen, chief executive of Magenta Research. "He has earned the respect of his peers, partners and colleagues and I am confident he will continue to make significant contributions to the company in this new role."
Muddiman, a qualified electronic engineer, has 19 years of experience within the B2B, B2C and OEM fields, as well as seven years working within the design industry. During his time as European sales and marketing manager, he helped bolster the company's European business by over 40 percent each year.
