The shortlisted entries to the Viscom Düsseldorf Digital Signage Best Practice Awards have been revealed, prior to the show and awards ceremony in Germany next month.

Fourteen projects from Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland and Poland are up for awards in the categories of Best DOOH Campaign, Best Content Concept for Digital Signage, Guiding Signage, Information Signage, Interactive Signage and Retail Signage. The campaigns were carried out in a range of environments including cinemas, hospitals, restaurants, universities and shopping centres, demonstrating 'the entire spectrum of the trendsetting medium', says Viscom.

Presentations of the projects will be on show at Viscom Düsseldorf from October 13th to 15th, with the winners to be announced on 'Viscom Night', taking place on October 14th. The show itself is to feature the dedicated Digital Signage World area, introduced at the 2007 event, which the organiser states is 'the point of reference for digital signing and information'.
