Stratacache's PrimaSee translucent digital display up for Technology InAVation prize

Stratacache's PrimaSee technology lets consumers see through adverts and product information, some of which can be made interactive and touch sensitive

Digital signage provider Stratacache's PrimaSee technology, which embeds high-definition images into glass fixtures via a translucent digital display, has been nominated for a Technology InAVation Award in the Most InAVative Digital Signage Product category.

PrimaSee is designed to engage consumers by allowing them see through adverts to the corresponding products displayed behind the screen, and can also incorporate consumer engagement strategies like touch-sensitive and gesturally activated games, surveys and coupons, according to Stratacache.

"We are excited to be a finalist for the 2012 Technology InAVation Awards," says Jason Palmer, EMEA director of business development at Stratacache. "The award raises the standard for innovation, and we're honoured to see PrimaSee as a candidate for the most InAVative Digital Signage Product. We encourage everyone to check out all the project entries and cast your vote."

The Technology InAVation Awards celebrate performance, development and innovation in the AV and systems integration markets. Voting is open to all until January 15th and winners will be announced during the Integrated Systems Europe show in Amsterdam from January 31st to February 2nd 2012.
