Christie picked up its InAVation Award at ISE 2011, where it also exhibited
Last week's Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) exhibition in Amsterdam featured the InAVation Awards 2011, which recognised a number of projects and technological innovations in the digital signage arena.
The winner of the Most InAVative Digital Signage Project award was announced as Displax Interactive Systems's concept for Meditel in Morocco, which included an interactive window and table, a video wall and gaming zone.
The Most InAVative Digital Signage Product category was won by Christie's MicroTiles modular display offering, which defeated a shortlist comprised of Lighthouse's DuoLED, Pufferfish's PufferSphere M, Vbrick's Vbrick Digital Signage, and Visix's Announce products.
"When we launched MicroTiles last year, we knew they would make waves, but the feedback not only from partners and end users but also in the form of awards has been staggering," comments Joe Graziano, market development manager for MicroTiles, EMEA, who accepted the award. "It's an honour for us at Christie to bring such a versatile and much-wanted product to the market."
MicroTiles were also represented by Pure Audio AV and Global Immersion, who won the Most InAVative Corporate AV Facility and Most InAVative Leisure/Entertainment Facility awards respectively for projects that included the product.
