Race-goers at this year's Epsom Derby were able to place their bets via the Giant iTab, Touch2View's 55" (1.4m) digital signage solution configured as a 'giant iPhone'.

Bookmaker William Hill's betting app was installed on the Giant iTab, enabling people to register for a free flutter, see up-to-date information on each of the day's races, check the latest odds and examine the form.

Touch2View explains that once registered on the Giant iTab, bettors could then log on to their account via their own smartphones – the first time the large-format touchscreen display has been used directly with a phone app.
