The newly revamped Westfield Point is 'an architecturally unique structure', says Ocean Outdoor
The digital tri-screen located at a busy interchange outside the Westfield shopping complex in London has been upgraded by DOOH company Ocean Outdoor.
The 'latest' LED technology has been used in the revamp to enhance clarity and colour uniformity, decrease energy consumption, and improve the immediacy of remote creative uploading.
Ocean Outdoor states the Westfield Point site offers an opportunity to advertise to thousands of shoppers and vehicle-based commuters travelling through the junction, and that the launch of the new screen has gone ahead with advertisers P&O, Reed and the West End show Dirty Dancing.
Tim Bleakley, chief executive of Ocean, comments: "This significant investment highlights Ocean's commitment to super-premium large-format digital. We are committed to not only expanding into key cities such as Birmingham, but to ensuring our existing product reflects the best in class."
Westfield Point is the only tri-screen in the UK, providing 360° visibility. It was constructed in 2009 and is 25m tall.
