Digital signage have replaced static signs for wayfinding and other applications in Rave Cinemas

Real Digital Media's Neocast digital signage platform has been chosen by US company Rave Cinemas for the roll-out of digital menuboards, box office screens, wayfinding, promotion of upcoming attractions and other DOOH applications.

Rave Cinemas is the USA's fifth largest cinema chain by box office and will extend its digital signage network beyond its first deployment in Texas last year, says Real Digital Media.

Each of the cinema locations' digital signage content will be programmed and monitored using the Neocast Media Server management software from Rave's Dallas HQ. Real explains that the software also monitors the network's performance. In addition, Neocast Media Player Z media players power the content.

"Through a combination of video, rich media and real-time data integration, visitors to Rave Cinemas are being exposed to an engaging visual experience that is timely in the delivery of relevant information," says Ken Goldberg, chief executive, Real Digital Media.

Rave's latest deployment, an installation in Las Vegas comprising more than 65 screens, will be part of the Digital Signage Guided Installation Tour at Digital Signage Expo.
