The Stratford Corridors-situated campaign includes wall wraps and digital signage
Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo has been unveiled as the launch advertiser for JCDecaux's new Stratford Corridor Gateway Domination site, made up of two busy passenger tunnels linking the platforms at Stratford regional railway station and the Olympic Park exit in east London, UK.
The advertising campaign covers giant wall wraps and multiple creatives shown on eleven recently deployed D6 screens, which JCDecaux says turns the tunnels into 'a powerful showcase' for Uniqlo.
The present, five-week campaign launches the Uniqlo branch at the new Westfield Stratford City, which opened yesterday (September 13th). JCDecaux explains that the site will be seen by all Westfield shoppers, as well as all Olympic Park visitors, who travel to the area by Underground, train or Docklands Light Railway.
"This is a first look at one of our key Olympic assets and we are delighted to have Uniqlo as our launch advertiser," says Spencer Berwin, managing director of sales at JCDecaux. "The Stratford Corridors provide a high-impact, immersive experience for consumers at this new retail hub, influencing purchases and directing audiences to Uniqlo's new store."
