Airport management company Gesac chose Scala to power the LED walls for its flexibility in scheduling
Two 3 x 4m LED walls have been installed at Naples Airport in Italy, where they will target 5.7m passengers each year with marketing messages. The videowalls run on Scala digital signage software and were installed by Scala partner Konvergence.
Deployed at the departure hall's main entrance area, the screens carry adverts alongside airport service information to achieve 'a much higher "guaranteed" viewing rate' than adverts alone.
"Konvergence has created an eye-catching digital installation that immediately draws the attention of everyone in the departure hall of Naples Airport," comments Damon Crowhurst, senior director, Scala EMEA.
