The signagelive-powered menuboards display food and beverage options to fans
Digital signage provider signagelive has revealed new digital menuboards have been installed at the ground of American football team the San Francisco 49ers. The signagelive-powered screens were installed by the company's partner Ping HD.
A total of 20 concession stands were converted into digital menuboards at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, California. Some 58 32" (81cm) and 42" (1.01m) commercial-grade monitors from LG make up the installation, which was designed to work with existing televisions that screen the game while fans are queuing at the stands.
The deployment took place in time for the San Francisco 49ers to take on the Oakland Raiders in a friendly game on August 20th, where the screens made their debut to fans.
It has also been confirmed that signagelive will take part in a hands-on digital signage workshop at Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire, UK, hosted by its partner APC Displays on September 21st.
