The DOOH content includes demonstrations of Rohan's products and their use in context
Dynamax's digitalsignage.net software has been chosen to run digital display advertising in branches of outdoor clothing shop Rohan. The Dynamax software runs 19" (0.5m) LG displays powered by IAdea XMP-330 SMIL devices, with content managed centrally at Rohan's headquarters and shop floor staff involved in choosing files to publish.
The digital signage, deployed in Bristol, Salisbury and Guildford stores, shows both 'lifestyle videos' filmed in locations around the world and demonstrations of products to complement the service of shop assistants.
"We make gear that protects people in the world's wildest places, the technical benefits being rather hidden than overt. So we decided to use digital signage to explain these technical features in a visual way," explains Rohan chairman Colin Fisher.
"I wanted something that brought the product to life and there's nothing that beats digital signage at this. Digitalsignage.net made the content distribution into the shops seamless, delivering a quality output that involves a simple operation."
