The regenerated area is scheduled to open on October 26th with the ADI digital screen as its centrepiece
ADI has announced it is currently developing a bespoke, 60sq m LED screen to be installed in Dorchester, UK as part of the Dorset town's regeneration project. The screen, known as the 'Screen on the Square', will be deployed on the outside of the Odeon cinema on Brewery Square and will show HD film trailers, locally produced material and advertising content.
The manufacturer states the screen – which uses ADI's own 12mm outdoor LED product for high image quality – will be among the UK's highest resolution outdoor screens of its kind. ADI has also specially constructed slim-line cabinets to allow the screen to be fixed in the building exterior's shallow recess.
"We are extremely pleased to be involved in such a large regeneration project, where our LED screen will be located at the very heart of Brewery Square as a key focal point, engaging visitors and the local community and providing a dynamic platform for advertising," says Drew Burrow, ADI business development manager.
"The vast expertise our team have gained through previous large-scale installations has helped us develop a bespoke screen solution that suits the needs of the project, where the end result will be an extremely high-impact communication platform."
