Pronto Copec needed a system with easy-to-update content so that different pricing options could be displayed
Onelan has completed an overhaul of the informational systems used by Pronto Copec, Chile's largest petroleum distribution firm, with an installation of a number of digital signage systems to replace printed posters and menuboards.
Pronto Copec, which has a total of 90 sites across the nation, has had DOOH products installed in four of its petrol stations.
Xavier Texidó, Pronto's digital signage network administrator, notes: "We tried a lot of digital signage solutions that just didn't work at all. We chose Onelan's digital signage because of its reliability, flexible content scheduling, layout creation flexibility, detailed network monitoring and proof-of-play options."
The new systems range from two Onelan Net-Top-Boxes (NTBs) 5500s each driving four screens arranged in a videowall, at the larger end, to a single NTB 510 powering one display, for the smallest installation. Content displayed includes advertising, pricing information and food menus.
Pronto Copec adds that a key requirement of the digital signage was that content could easily be altered depending on the time of day.
