ComQi, formed by the merger of EnQii and Minicom, says it will deploy its ScreenGate IP Streaming solution in more shopping centres this year
ComQi has revealed its ScreenGate IP Streaming solution has been installed in ECE Flatmedia's shopping centre network, located in Stuttgart, Germany. The streaming solution has been integrated into an existing network to utilise IP network features, and allow full-HD distribution.
ECE Flatmedia is the owner of Germany's 'largest and most advanced' digital out-of-home shopping centre networks, explains ComQi. ECE Flatmedia's IT and logistics manager Lars Peters comments: "After having tested all the different technologies in our laboratory, we came to the conclusion that ComQi's ScreenGate IP Streaming solution was the best quality and most innovative distribution solution for our digital signage networks."
Ronni Guggenheim, ComQi's president, adds: "ScreenGate IP Streaming […] allows any content to be delivered to any place on the globe, at the right time and at the right quality, using existing network infrastructure, which dramatically reduces deployment costs. We are proud to be working with ECE Flatmedia on their roll-out."
