The digital signage deployment will use Amscreen's plug-and-play technology which allows screen content to be updated remotely
Amscreen has announced a deal with convenience store chain Londis, which will see Amscreen's digital signage network deployed in the busiest branches. This will target more than 9m customers each week with advertisements and offers, says the company.
The agreement sees Londis join Amscreen's dedicated convenience store network, which allows users to aim advertising messages at the local community.
"We are delighted to announce this deal with Londis who now join Booker and Spar Scotland in the network," comments Simon Sugar, Amscreen chief executive. "Our convenience store network is constantly expanding, and is on target to be in 1,000 sites by the year end, which further reinforces our position within the industry and demonstrates that we deliver results within multiple sectors.
"We are currently reaching out to an audience of 25m a week and once our neighbourhood network is complete, we envisage this figure to reach over 30m."
A trial of the digital screens was carried out at a number of Londis sites before the agreement was finalised, which found advertised products experienced increased sales.
