The Ibn Battuta Mall will have a mixture of kiosks and displays installed
Al Barq Digital has announced the addition of two new shopping centres to its digital signage portfolio. The Abu Dhabi Media Digital Out Of Home-owned firm has signed deals with both the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai and the Khalidiyah Mall in Abu Dhabi.
A total of 40 displays and 28 kiosks will be installed by Al Barq in the Ibn Battuta Mall, which houses over 250 retailers, 21 cinema screens and 25 dining outlets. The shopping centre is split into six themed sections – China, Egypt, Andalusia, Tunisia, India and Persia – and is based around the routes taken by noted Arabic explorer Ibn Battuta.
The DOOH offerings installed by Al Barq across both sites will include 22" (56cm) LCD touchscreens, designed to deliver wayfinding information, and 65" (165cm) LCD HD panels, which will deliver appropriate advertising messaging.
The Khalidiyah Mall, meanwhile, will have twelve kiosks and 18 displays installed. Like the Ibn Battuta Mall, the facility includes a cinema complex, as well as retail and food environments.
