Screens supplied by Wireless Ronin Technologies will be included in the renovation of the USA’s largest shopping centre, after completing the first stage of deployment with the mall’s signage vendor Leroy Signs.
Some 20 RoninCast digital signs will be included in the new Southside Renovation at the Mall of America, which at 4.2 million square feet is the country’s biggest retail space. RoninCast will also form part of the complex’s overall renovation plans and will be used throughout the centre.
Wireless Ronin Technologies will provide the hardware and software, monitor the network through its Network Operations Center (NOC) and produce, deploy and schedule content advertising the mall’s shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities.
“We are excited to have new digital signage in place on our South Avenue. These signs fit in well with the recent renovation of the area,” comments Mike Tvrdik, senior director of sponsorship, Mall of America. “Top-of-mind awareness is crucial to our success – and this cutting-edge signage fits with our strategy. Working with Wireless Ronin Technologies has been a good experience and we can’t wait to see the results.”
