New 3D solutions from Phillips Commercial Signage offer a 'brilliant glasses-free 3D picture from multiple viewing angles'

Philips revealed a number of new products in its commercial signage and hospitality line-ups at InfoComm 2012, which took place in Las Vegas between June 13th and 15th. Offerings including glasses-free 3D and touch products for the retail, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare and transportation industries were presented at the Philips booth.

The new glasses-free 3D displays, available in sizes of 23" (58cm), 42" (1.07m) and 55" (1.4m), feature built-in 3D conversion software to 'easily convert both 3D stereo and 2D content into glasses-free 3D content in real time', offering up to 28 viewing angles.

Ten Philips Touch Series solutions were also unveiled, featuring a choice of two touch technologies. Optical Sensing Dual-Touch allows two simultaneous contact points, while Infrared Sensing Multi-Touch allows multiple touch points. The screens will be available in sizes ranging from 32" (81cm) to 65" (1.7m).

Other products on show included Philips's 'affordable' Simple Signage Solution, nine integrated Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) displays, the Advantage series of televisions for hospitality and commercial markets and Directv HD hotel television with the Philips X-Cite series.

Craig Rathbun, sales and marketing director for exclusive Philips Commercial Signage Worldwide licensee MMD North America, says the line-up shows the company is 'truly committed to providing solutions' customers need.
