The SF-100e digital signage player is used in numerous eateries, says Noventri
A Noventri SF-100e digital signage player and 26" LCD screen have been installed in a US restaurant, replacing handwritten and printed material publicising promotions and specials.
The screen has been fitted at the condiment counter at the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Hagerstown, Maryland, as a way to target customers as they queue to place and collect orders. Noventri says the green, non-PC technology, which supplies high-definition content for menu boards and signage, is used by a number of hotels and convention centres as well as other dining establishments.
Commenting on the Chick-fil-A project, restaurant operator Randy Scott says: "One of the challenges faced by all restaurant operators is finding ways to concisely market their products. At Chick-fil-A communication and maintaining our image is critical. For us, Noventri fulfilled our needs with their digital signage solution. Our staff loves it and our customers are 'wowed' by high-definition images that 'shout' to our customers without being intrusive."
