The Highways Agency will be using electronic message signs on motorways during the Clothes Show Live event at the NEC in Birmingham, UK from this week, demonstrating how the signage can help motorists avoid delays.

"We will use our electronic message signs on approaching motorways to give drivers information about any diversions and delays, and provide up-to-the minute traffic information using local radio," states Frank Bird, emergency planning officer for the Highways Agency in the West Midlands.

The fashion event will take place from December 2nd to 7th.
